The Toshiba Chromebook CB35

At first Chromebooks were a joke, but Google and manufacturers are really putting some effort into Chromebooks. For some time now,  I have actually been considering getting a Chromebook. A majority of the work I need a computer for is conducted online, and yes it does suck when wifi or the internet connect does go down. If you too have been considering aquiring a Chromebook, here is one to look at.

Product Review:
Out of the several Chromebooks available today is the Toshiba Chromebook CB35 and it looks set to be a major standout, with features such as a slim and compact design, the Chrome OS, a brilliant 13-inch diagonal TruBrite HD display, long-lasting battery life, powerful speakers, the best of Google’s built-in apps, and built-in security.

How Much?
The Toshiba Chromebook has a selling price of $266.95 - $299.99 ( price can vary depending on the retail outlet you visit).

Who Would Buy This?
A lot of people are now making a move away from Windows and looking for other – better – alternatives. The Toshiba Chromebook is definitely a great way to make that switch, since it takes you to an environment you are already greatly familiar with, with no fuss, no frills, and no complications. This will definitely be purchased by users who want straightforward operation that they could not get from regular laptops or notebooks.

Things We Like:
A lot of Chromebooks have already cropped up in the market, but they had major downsides, keeping us from fully throwing our money behind them – and on them. That is about to change with the Toshiba CB35-A3120 Chromebook.

For starters, instead of the usual 11-inch display, the Toshiba Chromebook boasts an HD TruBrite LED-backlit display that measures precisely 13.3 inches diagonally. It is roomier, and also offers brilliant color and stunning detail. It’s just the perfect size for watching videos, playing games, viewing photos, or working with your usual apps and programs. Meanwhile, the Toshiba Chromebook’s audio can only be described as crisp, clear, and full-bodied, which is a pleasant surprise, coming from such a slim and compact unit.

The impressive battery life of the Toshiba Chromebook is also not lost on us. Able to run up to 9 hours with no problems, it is perfect for all-day use, and you won’t have problems taking it anywhere with you.

Connectivity is another strong suit of the Toshiba Chromebook. Not only does it have 2 USB 3.0 ports, it also has a headphone jack, an SD card slot, and HDMI-out port. The built-in HD webcam and microphone are highly useful, since this Chromebook also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.

Things We Don’t Like:
This might be a very minor consideration for many, but the keys on the keyboard are slightly shallow. However, the softness more than makes up for it.

Guarantee?
The Toshiba Chromebook comes with Toshiba’s 1-year standard limited warranty.

Is It Worth The Money?
If there is one Chromebook that is worth spending your money on, the Toshiba Chromebook is definitely it. It helps that it is also one of the more reasonably priced, considering its amazing features, attractive design, and solid construction.

Where Can I Buy?
Toshiba will definitely make this available in its stores. Or you can head straight to online sellers, such as Amazon. Amazon is known for giving great discounts and even letting their customers avail of products with Free Shipping.

Toshiba Satellite P50t-AST2GX1 Review

Product Review:
Toshiba has just come up with a new portable laptop that offers both high power and performance, making it perfect as a normal laptop and as a gaming device. The Toshiba Satellite P50t is a slim and compact device powered by 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor and a dedicated nVidia GeForce GT 740M 2GB RAM graphics chip. It comes with 15.6-inch full HD screen, 1 TB of HDD, 12GB memory, Ultra HD support and premium sound, courtesy of two Harman Kardon speakers.

How Much?
The Toshiba Satellite P50t has a recommended selling price starting from $1,299.99.

Who Would Buy This?
Laptops and portables are becoming more and more sophisticated to suit the lifestyle of users everywhere. The Toshiba Satellite P50t is certainly rising up to the occasion, offering excellent features and aesthetics at the same time. This specific model will definitely be snatched up by users who are looking for a unit that they can use as a computer and then conveniently turn into a gaming device.

Things We Like:
With up to 1 TB of HDD, you won’t be running into storage problems any time soon, and with its 12 GB memory support and two accompanying slots, you are ensured speed and efficiency. But these aren’t the only two features that will make you fall in love with the Toshiba Satellite P50t.
More than a workhorse, a laptop is also a device for entertainment and gaming purposes, so the Ultra HD support integrated into the Toshiba Satellite P50t is certainly a great addition. Its Ultra HD, or UHD, supporting HDMI-out port converts and outputs UHD content to an external compatible television, so you can enjoy your favorite computer games at greater resolutions. It’s not only about playing games, though, since you can also enjoy watching images and videos, provided they are originally shot in UHD.

We also like the backlit screen’s 10-finger capacitive touch screen display. But that does not mean it’s your only way of navigating through the Windows 8 interface. It also comes with a click touchpad that you can use using your fingers. Even the keyboard is LED backlit, so you can easily use the Toshiba Satellite P50t even under low light.
One other good thing about it is the Toshiba Sleep-and-Music feature. This lets you enjoy your favorite music even when the laptop has already been switched off, without the quality of sound dropping!

Things We Don’t Like:
So far, we have nothing to complain about the Toshiba Satellite P50t.

Guarantee?
Toshiba has not made any definitive announcements regarding warranty terms for the Toshiba Satellite P50t laptop.

Is It Worth The Money?
Stylish and high-performance, the Toshiba Satellite P50t is certainly worth every cent you spend on it.

Where Can I Buy?
Amazon is only one of the many online sites that you can find the Toshiba Satellite P50t in. However, the great thing about this merchant site is how it offers products at the best prices, and even lets you avail of their free shipping option. Of course, you can also buy the Toshiba Satellite P50t directly from Toshiba.

Final Thoughts:
For a first-class multimedia experience without the usual hassles and complications, choose the Toshiba Satellite P50t.
