The Toshiba Chromebook CB35

At first Chromebooks were a joke, but Google and manufacturers are really putting some effort into Chromebooks. For some time now,  I have actually been considering getting a Chromebook. A majority of the work I need a computer for is conducted online, and yes it does suck when wifi or the internet connect does go down. If you too have been considering aquiring a Chromebook, here is one to look at.

Product Review:
Out of the several Chromebooks available today is the Toshiba Chromebook CB35 and it looks set to be a major standout, with features such as a slim and compact design, the Chrome OS, a brilliant 13-inch diagonal TruBrite HD display, long-lasting battery life, powerful speakers, the best of Google’s built-in apps, and built-in security.

How Much?
The Toshiba Chromebook has a selling price of $266.95 - $299.99 ( price can vary depending on the retail outlet you visit).

Who Would Buy This?
A lot of people are now making a move away from Windows and looking for other – better – alternatives. The Toshiba Chromebook is definitely a great way to make that switch, since it takes you to an environment you are already greatly familiar with, with no fuss, no frills, and no complications. This will definitely be purchased by users who want straightforward operation that they could not get from regular laptops or notebooks.

Things We Like:
A lot of Chromebooks have already cropped up in the market, but they had major downsides, keeping us from fully throwing our money behind them – and on them. That is about to change with the Toshiba CB35-A3120 Chromebook.

For starters, instead of the usual 11-inch display, the Toshiba Chromebook boasts an HD TruBrite LED-backlit display that measures precisely 13.3 inches diagonally. It is roomier, and also offers brilliant color and stunning detail. It’s just the perfect size for watching videos, playing games, viewing photos, or working with your usual apps and programs. Meanwhile, the Toshiba Chromebook’s audio can only be described as crisp, clear, and full-bodied, which is a pleasant surprise, coming from such a slim and compact unit.

The impressive battery life of the Toshiba Chromebook is also not lost on us. Able to run up to 9 hours with no problems, it is perfect for all-day use, and you won’t have problems taking it anywhere with you.

Connectivity is another strong suit of the Toshiba Chromebook. Not only does it have 2 USB 3.0 ports, it also has a headphone jack, an SD card slot, and HDMI-out port. The built-in HD webcam and microphone are highly useful, since this Chromebook also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.

Things We Don’t Like:
This might be a very minor consideration for many, but the keys on the keyboard are slightly shallow. However, the softness more than makes up for it.

Guarantee?
The Toshiba Chromebook comes with Toshiba’s 1-year standard limited warranty.

Is It Worth The Money?
If there is one Chromebook that is worth spending your money on, the Toshiba Chromebook is definitely it. It helps that it is also one of the more reasonably priced, considering its amazing features, attractive design, and solid construction.

Where Can I Buy?
Toshiba will definitely make this available in its stores. Or you can head straight to online sellers, such as Amazon. Amazon is known for giving great discounts and even letting their customers avail of products with Free Shipping.
